Home, belongings and liability
Before comparing a policy, identify whether you need protection for a house, a condominium or a rental: needs and contracts differ. For a house, review limits for the structure and belongings, personal liability and how a loss would be valued. The cost to rebuild can differ from the property's sale price.
Wind and flood are different risks
In Florida, check how a policy handles wind or hurricane damage and whether a separate deductible applies. A standard homeowners policy generally does not cover flooding; that protection usually requires a separate policy. Do not assume a coverage is included without confirming the insurer's terms.
You can begin with general property information. If an insurer needs documents or more detailed information, we will arrange an appropriate channel; do not send them through the initial form.

Coverage is subject to carrier eligibility, terms, limits and exclusions. A Vemos advisor can help you compare available options.
